Kitchen

Our meals are prepared daily by our cook who has 21 years experience providing nutritional food to children. The menu includes breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack and ensures we offer 50% of their daily nutritional requirements. We follow the Australian Dietary guideline whom provide us with information and advice about eating for health and wellbeing.

Our centre is respectful of cultural and medical dietary requirements and special meals are prepared in accordance with needs and designed to have similar appearance to the menu meal. We are a nut free centre and under the food safety program the centre does not accept food supplied by parents. We only ask you to provide a piece of fruit to be prepared by the cook for morning tea.

Meal times are a pleasant social experience, allowing children to be independent with feeding, self serve and clean up where appropriate. Educators sit with the children and encourage social interactions, taking turns and healthy eating habits.
